METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING DATA FROM AUDIO DATA CONVERTER

PURPOSE: A method for transferring data from an audio data converter is provided to record audio data without unnecessary previous preparation for data transfer by employing a normal optical disk recording/playback device. CONSTITUTION: According to recording requirement, an audio data converter is set in a data transfer mode without passing a standby mode by bus occupation and packet command. The data are transferred according to the data transfer mode. Then, the data transfer mode is canceled when recording stop is required. Finally, the data transfer is stopped. Data transfer is performed by a faster data transfer protocol while using an optical disk driver having a PC(Personal Computer) connecting bus. Therefore, the cost required for using an exclusive optical disk driver is reduced and compatibility is kept to share the current optical disk driver with other hosts.
