PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust dynamic pressure bearing device capable of miniaturizing a bearing part and sufficiently bearing an axial force acting on a rotary shaft even when the rotary shaft rotates in both normal and opposite directions at low speed. SOLUTION: This thrust dynamic pressure bearing device bearing an axial load acting on the rotary shaft 1 and regulating an axial movement of the rotary shaft 1 is composed of a rotating disc 2 fixed on the rotary shaft 1, a fixed plate 3 fixed facing the rotating disc 2 in an irrotational state, a thrust disc 5 interposed between the rotating disc 2 and the fixed plate 3 while maintaining a predetermined bearing gap and composing a dynamic pressure bearing between the rotating disc 2 and the fixed plate 3, and a means 9 rotatively driving the thrust disc 5 so that a rotational different to the rotating disc 2 is generated.
