<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end stopper and a method of making the same, which are capable of providing improved strength characteristics of a protruding end stopper structure on a fastener of a plastic bag, etc. having a reclosable slider, and of providing shortened processing time. <P>SOLUTION: The bag includes first and second end stoppers 29, 30 disposed at both of the ends, opposite to each other, of the fastener 11. Each end stopper is formed of the material of the fastener at both of its ends opposite to each other, and protrudes from the fastener by a distance suitable for preventing travel of the slider 10 past each end of the fastener. The first and second end stoppers are composed of at least one or a combination or a copolymer of high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene, polypropylene, cyclic olefin copolymer, high-density material, or high-modulus material.
