摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly-economical color facsimile equipment which makes monochromatic printing at a low running cost as a user intends even when color image data is received. SOLUTION: The color facsimile equipment is equipped with: a attribute decision means of deciding the attribute of whether the received image data are color or monochromatic data: an image output means of color printing on recording paper when the attribute decision means decides color image data and monochromatic printing on the recording paper when the attribute decision means decides monochromatic data; an output mode selecting means of monochromatically printing the received image data by the image output means irrelevantly to the decision result of the attribute decision means; and an image data storage means of storing the image data decided as color image data by the attribute decision means when the output mode selecting means selects a monochromatic print mode.
