<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device capable of accurately detecting a ground fault in a Z-source booster circuit. <P>SOLUTION: This inverter device includes: a booster circuit 4 provided with a first reactor connected to the positive end of a DC power supply, a second reactor connected to the negative end of the DC power supply, a first capacitor connected between the input end of the first reactor and the output end of the second reactor, and a second capacitor connected between the output end of the first reactor and the input end of the second reactor; and an inverter circuit 6 with a plurality of phases connected to the output side of the booster circuit. Also the inverter device is equipped with a ground detection circuit 5 for outputting a detection value for detecting a ground fault on at least either of the output end of the positive side or the output end of the negative side in the booster circuit between the booster circuit and the inverter circuit, and a ground detection device that prohibits a ground fault determination by the detection value output from the ground fault detection circuit in a short-circuit period for short-circuiting either phase of the inverter circuit and determines a ground fault by the detection value in a period except the short-circuit period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
