PIXEL PARTITION WALL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, COLOR FILTER, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DISPLAY APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pixel partition wall by which pixels of high discrimination can be obtained because ink jet ink selectively adheres only to an unprocessed area when the ink jet ink is made to adhere to the surface since difference of contact angles to the ink jet ink is large between an ink repellency processed area and the unprocessed area.

SOLUTION: The pixel partition wall partitions respective pixels constituting two or more pixel groups which are located on a substrate and have colors different from each other. The contact angle of a pixel partition wall upper surface toward 1,3-butanediol diacetate is 45° or more and the contact angle of a pixel partition wall flank toward the 1,3-butanediol diacetate is 5° to 30°.
