POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE OF RAPIER LOOM

PURPOSE: A power transmission device of a rapier loom is characterized by stopping a sectored gear with a movable member not to drive a wheel temporarily for rotating a crank with power of the loom continuously and not moving a band in beating a reed to have an effect being like stopping for proper time. CONSTITUTION: A power transmission device of a rapier loom comprises: a crank(50) containing an eccentric shaft(51) connected with a connecting rod(40) and changing rotation power of the loom to reciprocal movement; a connecting pin hole(44) formed on a connecting member(41) and assembled with a movable member(30); a depression groove(46) formed on the connecting member(41) and assembled with the eccentric shaft(51) of the crank(50); a cover(42) covering the depression groove(46) and a bolt fixing the same; the connecting rod(40) delivering rotation power of the crank(50) to the movable member(30); a movable shaft(31) formed in the middle of the movable member(30); a connecting pin hole(32) formed on one side of the movable member(30); a connecting part(33) installed on the other side of the movable member(30) and formed an incision part(35); the movable member(30) moved right and left centering around the movable shaft(31) by the connecting rod(40); a joining member(20) which is assembled with the movable member(30) and a sectored gear(10), delivering movement of the movable member(30) to the sectored gear(10); and the sectored gear(10) reciprocal-moved centering around a rotation shaft(11).
