<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable caliper type disc brake device for suppressing the noises and abnormal sounds of a brake by suppressing the useless movement of pads arranged both inside and outside a disc rotor. <P>SOLUTION: In the movable caliper type disc brake device, inner torque blocks 81, 82 and outer torque blocks 91, 92 are each non-movably assembled on a mounting 40. The inner pad 51 and the outer pad 52 are supported on the inner torque blocks 81, 82 and on the outer torque blocks 91, 92, respectively, in the state that their movement to a rotor radial direction and a rotor peripheral direction is restricted and their movement to a rotor axial direction is permitted. On the inner pad side, braking force is accepted via the inner torque blocks 81, 82 by the mounting 40.
