<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for monitoring a path status by which a band is more quickly increased/decreased. <P>SOLUTION: SONET frames FR which are serially connected for 32 frames and to each of which frame numbers FN ("0" to "31") are attached are generated by being circulated in a period Tc (=64 ms) to paths P0-P2, respectively. After shifting transmission delay time T<SB>D</SB>0-T<SB>D</SB>2 of the frames FR by every optimal delay time interval (=21 ms) among the paths P0-P2 based on the number of paths (3), the transmission delay time T<SB>D</SB>1 and T<SB>D</SB>2 are returned for the transmission delay time of the paths P1 and P2 to the preliminarily calculated path P0. When the frames FR are transmitted via the respective paths P0-P2, generation statuses of reception failures of the respective paths P0-P2 at the time are collected and stored in a frame whose frame number FN= "0". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
