The present invention relates to a surface-modified super absorbent resin and a producing method thereof and, more specifically, to a surface-modified super absorbent resin having improved processibility while not significantly degrading other properties by being surface-modified after adding water-soluble salts comprising polyvalent cations and a polycarbonic acid-based copolymer which is a novel polymer to the super absorbent resin, and to a producing method thereof.
