The present invention relates to an animal training device and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the animal training device comprises: a signal transmitting portion for transmitting a behavior control signal to be recognized through a sensory nerve or a cranial nerve by a training target animal; a behavior detecting portion for detecting a behavior of the training target animal by using a sensor or a camera; a determining portion for determining whether the detected behavior of the training target animal is matched to a behavior corresponding to the behavior control signal; and a feedback portion for transmitting a feedback signal to the training target animal according to whether the behavior of the training target animal is matched. The present invention has effects of reducing the time and costs consumed for training a training target animal by automatically training the training target animal without observation and operations of a user; training a large number of training target animals at the same time; efficiently training a training target animal by evaluating a training degree of a training target animal; and controlling a behavior of a training target animal in a higher level.
