SYSTEM FOR DECIDING AND COMBINING EYE-GAZE POSITION AND COMPUTER-EXECUTABLE PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably estimate the eye-gaze position in a real world or shared visual world(RW/SVW) of a user even when the position of the head of the user is changed.

SOLUTION: This system 240 is provided with a first storage part 268 for storing the location information of an object in a real world or a shared virtual world(RW/SVW), a location deciding module 260 for deciding the location of an "anchor" in each frame of a video signal outputted from an eye-tracker 74, and for outputting the location information of the image of the object in the field of view of the user and a module 262 for calculating the eye-gaze position in the RW/SVW of the user based on the eye-gaze position of the user in the field of view, the location of the anchor and the location information of the anchor in the RW/SVW. The data of participants are combined to update the SVW.
