<p>PURPOSE:To adjust the flow rate in a wide range with high accuracy by forming a strangulated groove whose depth gradually reduces onto the outer peripheral surface of a cock and varying the sectional area of a fluid passage by changing the turning position of the cock. CONSTITUTION:A cock 3 is fitted in turnable ways into a holder 5 having the fluid inlet/outlet holes 8a and 8b, A strangulated groove 4 whose depth gradually reduces is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cock 3. A fluid passage is formed from the fluid inlet/outlet holes 8a and 8b and the strangulated groove 4. Therefore, the sectional area of the fluid passage is continuously varied by turning the cock 3, and the flow rate can be adjusted in a wide range with high accuracy.</p> |
