PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment with which erroneous dialing can be prevented. SOLUTION: Concerning this communication equipment, information on transmission frequency is stored in a non-volatile RAM 4 corresponding to the telephone number of the transmission destination. When the party's number to be transmitted is inputted, the presence/absence of the coincident telephone number is checked while referring to the non-volatile RAM 4 and when there is the coincident telephone number, its transmission frequency is checked. When the transmission frequency is high, transmission processing is executed as it is but when the transmission frequency is low, the display for calling the confirmation of the telephone number is performed for a user.
