<p>A method and apparatus for conducting electronic transactions and auditing electronic transaction documents in an online transaction system allow users to accept or reject received electronic transaction documents, wherein the acceptance is non-repudiable and is based on the content and terms of the received electronic transaction document. Transactions may be conducted between two or more parties, and may include non-party participants. Electronic transaction documents may be stored and audited by validating digital signatures and verifying that the contents of stored electronic transaction documents have not been compromised.</p> |
