PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy wire having high tensile strength and also, high bending resistance and good electric conductivity at low cost. SOLUTION: This copper alloy wire contains Sn and In in the range of 0.3-0.5 mass% of single or the total of Sn and In in the Cu, and has≥70 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>tensile strength, and the bending service life at the bending time, in 1% bending strain and 90°right and left bending under loading state of 3 kg/mm<SP>2</SP>loading, is≥17,000 times.
