The invention relates to an equipment for machining internal helical surfaces by ultrasound-assisted electrical discharge, which is mounted on a volume electrical discharge machine and is connected to an ultrasound generator. According to the invention, the equipment comprises an upper plate (1) which is attached with a rod (1a) to the working head of an electrical discharge machine, which performs advance and withdrawal movements (2) specific to electrical discharge, a body (3) wherein a shaft (30) is rotary supported, having mounted a template (5) having a helical groove (5a), three feeler modules (6) arranged at 120° on some radial supports (9) having some grooves (9a) with a T-shaped profile, whereon the feeler modules (6) fastened with screws (14) with T-shaped profile and some nuts (14a) can be moved such that the feelers (26) enter a groove (5a) having a shape conjugated thereto, the radial supports (9) being stiffened with a connection flange (8), assembled with some vertical supports (10) vertically adjustable, depending on the height of the piece to be machined, with some soles (11) having some threaded rods (11a) and secured with some nuts (11b), said soles (11) being mounted on the table of the electrical discharge machine or on the frontal surface of a large sized piece. |
