PURPOSE:To protect the occupant's head or the like when they are collided with an air bag lid and relieve the shock to the windshield caused by the bounced air bag lid at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A longitudinal rib 62 and a transverse rib 64 are provided on a base plate 16 of an air bag lid 10 in a grid manner to form a reinforcement part 61, and a slit 58 is provided to form an easily-foldable part 56. The easily- foldable part 56 is formed adjacent to the reinforcement part 61 to the lower side of the reinforcement part 61. Reinforcement members 66, 68 which extend in the direction to cross easily-foldable part 56 and are fixed to the air bag lid 10 to the upper and lower part of the easily-foldable part 56 are provided on the air bag lid 10, and an easily-deformed part which follows the bending at the easily-foldable part 56 of the air bag lid 10 and is easily deformed is formed. |
