PURPOSE:To provide a developing device capable of expanding a napping regulating gap tolerance and attaining reduction in the number of processes and the improvement of mass-productivity. CONSTITUTION:The developing device has a developing sleeve 24, a doctor blade 25 regulating the quantity of developer stuck onto the surface of the developing sleeve 24, a stirring paddle 23b for forming a developer retaining part 26 on the upstream side of the doctor blade 25b, in the rotational direction of the developing sleeve 24 and an upper partitioning part 25a partitioning the side of the developing sleeve 24 and further, the doctor blade 25b and the upper partitioning part 25a are integrally formed. Thus, the doctor blade 25b as a developer napping regulating member and the upper partitioning part 25a are integrated and the tolerance of napping regulation can be expanded without considering the variance of the assembling of parts, so that the number of processes can be reduced and productivity can be improved. |
