PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a pranlukast-containing granulate having narrow particle size distribution and good fluidity by modifying the surface of pranlukast having strong adhering aggregation. SOLUTION: The objective granulates contains (A) 30-90wt.% pranlukast, (B) saccharides such as lactose or mannitol in an amount of 10-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. pranlukast, (C) a water-soluble polymer in an amount of 1-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. pranlukast and/or (D) a surfactant such as polysorvate in an amount of 0.5-2.5 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. pranlukast as active ingredients, and is obtained by granulating these active ingredients by spray drying method. The particle diameter of granulates can be controlled by changing spray-drying conditions and formed into 20-1000μm diameter. Granulates having good disintegration and dispersibility are obtained without any problem even if it is used for continuous production of packing of capsule, tabletting, etc. |
