The mobile staking device consists of a flexible stake (14), which is carried on a reel frame (1). The upper part of the frame is fitted with a hook (3) which allows the reel to be suspended from an overhead carrying cable (4). The reel (2) is mounted, so as to be able to rotate around a transverse axis, is carried in the lower part of the frame. One of the rims (8a) of the reel is formed with a latch (9), which is used to mate with an extension to the carrying frame, in the form of a locking lever (10). This lever consists of one section (10a), which is arranged to lie transversely across above the trajectory of the upper edge of the latch. A second section (10b) of the locking lever extends in a direction approximately parallel to the reel hanger sections of the frame (6a,6b) allowing the locking lever to be held in the locked position.
