FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling. SUBSTANCE: invention describes container 1 with bottom 2 and side wall parts 3 - 6 connected with bottom 2 for turning from vertical position relative to bottom 2 into flat position. Parts 3 - 6 of side walls are connected with bottom 2 by means of hinge joints 8 located in zone of surfaces 7 passing over perimeter of longitudinal and cross sides. Connecting devices 35 are located between parts 3 -6 of side walls. Connecting devices are installed in zones of parts 3 - 6 to suit surfaces of side walls limiting surfaces 7 of longitudinal and cross sides. Connecting device projects in direction of zone 31 of other part of side wall arranged at angle of 90 deg and is provided with centering and/or fixing members. Centering and/or fixing sockets correspond to centering and/or fixing members in zone 31 of butt-joining with other part of side wall. Fixing device is installed between parts 3-6 of side walls and/or between side walls and bottom 2. Fixing device serves as preliminary clamping device in direction of fixing of centering and/or fixing members. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 27 cl, 13 dwgc
