<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture an image of a subject on appropriate exposure conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The signal processor includes a control means for controlling: a first mode in which an imaging means for capturing the image of a subject picks up a first partial image of the subject by capturing the partial images of the subject under a plurality of exposure conditions during relative movement of the subject and the image capture device; and a second mode in which the control member sets the exposure conditions on the basis of the first partial image and the image capture member captures a plurality of second partial images of the subject by sequentially capturing the images of the subject in accordance with the set exposure conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
