PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a puncher part and to save the space thereof by enabling punching operation of the puncher part even within a short conveying path. SOLUTION: This recording device is composed of a recorder part 2 for recording a recording medium S in accordance with recording data from a host computer, a conveying means for moving the recording medium S by repeating a moving condition and a static condition in synchronization with the recording operation of the recorder part 2, and a puncher part 3 for forming a plurality of biding holes in the recording medium S conveyed by the conveying means with the use punches 22 and dies 23 in pairs. The punching operation carried out by the puncher part 3 is effected in a static condition of the recording medium S which is conveyed by repeating the moving condition and the static condition by means of the conveying means.
