PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed screw of simple constitution easy in maintenance for converting rotational motion into rectilinear motion. SOLUTION: A screw shaft 4 having a thread groove 5 in an outer circumference is inserted into a shaft insertion hole 3 formed in a nut member 1. An attaching hole 6 penetrated through the insertion hole 3 from the outer circumference is formed in the nut member 1, a roller shaft 11 of a roller 10 is supported rotatably by a roller case 7 attached to the attaching hole 6, the roller 10 is engaged with the groove 5 of the screw shaft 4 and the roller 10 is moved along an axial direction of the shaft 4 while rotating the roller 10, when the shaft 4 is rotated, to smoothen the axis-directional motion of the nut member 1. |
