Geometrical objects spatial indexing method for use in geographical information system, involves defining index of nodes of tree with depth, and associating index to geometric object of assembly

The method involves defining an index of nodes of a tree (A) with depth (P). The index is associated to a geometric object (O) of an assembly. A definition of the depth at which the object is associated has definition of a rectangle forming the object. A definition of the nodes at which the object is associated has a selection of the nodes such that an intersection of its domain with the rectangle is maximal. An independent claim is also included for geographical information system for implementing a method of spatial indexing of geometrical objects.
