<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a business card information exchange management device and method enabling each user to easily confirm the execution of a business card exchange action. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The business card information exchange management is achieved by the device having a business card exchange ID issuing means (S32) for returning a business card exchange ID to a portable terminal used by a user on the basis of an issuing request received from the portable terminal; a business card exchange determination means (S34) for determining, when receiving two paired business card exchange ID from the portable terminal used by the user, whether the users corresponding to the two business card exchange ID performed a business card exchange action or not on the basis of whether the business card exchange ID are already issued or not; and a business card exchange history recording means (S35) for recording, when it is determined that each user performed the business card exchange action, the execution of the business card exchange action between the users in a prescribed storage unit.
