The invention relates to chemico-pharmaceutical industry, in particular to the synthesis of individual chemical compounds in the series of 2-oxindole spirocyclic derivatives with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity which are close nonpepetide structural analogues of epiphyseal hormone melatonin.An individual chemical compound spiro[indoline-3,4-(2-amino-5-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4H-chromen-3-carbonitrile)]-2-one of general formula (I):, (І)exhibits high anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity with low toxicity and can be used as active substance of pharmaceuticals of various dosage forms: tablets, capsules, suspensions for oral administration etc.
