PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm type gas meter having structure realizing excellent waterproofness by forming a case from a resin when providing the case on the front, without forming any joint above an electronic control part. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit 6 of this diaphragm type gas meter 1 is disposed to be positioned on the furthermore back side of a front case 4, and on the front side of a rear lower side case and/or a rear upper side case. A loading domain of a terminal board (terminal board box) is positioned on the front side of the rear lower side case, and on the lowermost side of the electronic control unit 6. An upper part of the front case 4 is screwed with the rear upper side case by a screw. Further, a pawl part 4f for hooking and holding on a pawl hooking part 6f provided on the electronic control unit 6, or on a case for loading it, or on the rear lower side case is provided on a lower part of the front case 4.
