PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device capable of suppressing a complicated control when a carriage is moved from one of linear motor drive interval and mechanical driving interval to the other.SOLUTION: A conveying device comprises: a carriage 2, and a conveying part 1 for conveying the carriage 2. The conveying part 1 includes: a linear motor drive interval 11 to which a linear motor stator 113 is arranged, and a mechanical driving interval 12 to which an endless belt 125 to be driven by a motor 124 is arranged. The carriage 2 includes: a linear motor movable element 23, and a belt contacting part 22 to which a driving force is transmitted by contacting with the belt 125 of mechanical driving interval 12, and is constructed so as to convey the liner motor drive interval 11 and mechanical driving interval 12. In the belt 125 of mechanical driving interval 12, a surface of the side contacted with the belt contacting part 22 of carriage 2 is formed in a flat plane-like state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
