PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in a fixing device using a heater whose both surfaces are formed with heat generating segments, the temperature of a film brought into contact with the heater changes depending on the case that power is supplied to the heat generating segment formed on the front surface of the heater and the case that power is supplied to the heat generating segment formed on the rear surface of the heater.SOLUTION: A fixing device includes a control unit capable of performing: a first heater control for controlling a heater so that power is supplied to only a first heat generating segment; and a second heater control for controlling the heater so that power is supplied to only a second heat generating segment. A target temperature when the second heater control is performed is higher than a target temperature when the first heater control is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
