A container includes a connection with an opening and a removable closure. At least one guide element, on or in which the closure is displaceable, is provided on the connection. At least one socket projecting forwardly in a sliding direction is formed on a side of the container having the connection. A dispensing system having the container is also provided.

a connection disposed at a side of the container, said connection having an opening formed therein; at least one guide element disposed on said connection; a closure being slidable relative to the container at or in said at least one guide element, said closure being removable by displacement of the container in a slide direction; and said side of the container having said connection including at least one of at least one projection projecting forwardly in said slide direction or at least one forwardly open socket.
