<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing and printing system in which the number of pixels of image data handled by a photographing apparatus is initially set at the preferable number of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: Image data of a small image size (ishotL, (x/2)×(y/2)) smaller than the print size (x×y) of a printer are transmitted from a cellular telephone to a printer by infrared communication. The transmitted data are subjected to magnification processing at a magnification rate of 1.4-1.8 times, and are further converted into print data suitable for printing of this printer. A latent image is recorded on a recorded medium on the basis of the print data, and the recorded medium is discharged to the outside of the printer while developing the recorded medium with it pinched by a developing roller. Also, when image data of a VGA size are transmitted, the image is printed out as it is. When image data of one mega size are transmitted, the image is converted into the image of the number of pixels of the VGA sized and the image is printed out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
