<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein data are outputted from a nearby printer of a remote computer and secrecy is leaked to third parties unless a user clearly specifies a printer nearest to the user as a printer to which data are to be outputted in the case of connecting a user's computer to the remote computer and requesting print output; and data should be outputted from the nearby printer by the same printing request command without requiring the user to clearly specify a printer to which data are to be outputted. <P>SOLUTION: Data can be outputted to the printer nearest to the user by the same printing request command without requiring the user to clearly specify a printer to which data are outputted. Thereby, it is unnecessary for the user to be conscious of the user's nearby printer.
