Encapsulated substation

An encapsulated substation with equipment for electrical force distribution, having high-voltage devices and low-voltage devices as well as a transformer, has a cohesive internal space for the said devices. The high-voltage device is provided with appliances for pressure relief directly to the open air in the event of electrical faults, and manually or automatically controlled ventilation hatches are arranged in the station walls in such a manner that the ventilation air for the transformer is carried towards the electrical devices in order to heat them by means of the heat losses from the transformer.
