<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a device for monitoring gas-insulated transforming equipment which can automatically monitor gas-insulated transforming equipment so that the manpower can be saved and can protect a gas analyzer from a harmful gas to the utmost. CONSTITUTION:The sulfur hexafluoride filling up a gas-insulated transformer 1 (sealed tank 3) is sampled and taken into an inspection unit 11 and the carbon dioxide concentration in the sample gas is measured by means of an infrared gas analyzer 12. An automatic diagnosing device diagnoses the deterioration of the gas from the carbon dioxide concentration. Another inspection unit 36 (gas detector 37) measures the content of thionyl fluoride in the gas before the analyzer 12 measure the carbon dioxide concentration and, when the thionyl fluoride content exceeds a preset level, the supply of the sampled gas to the inspection unit 11 is stopped.</p> |
