<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cutter capable of surely cutting a crimped fiber bundle at a higher speed according to the throughput of a high-speed crimper. CONSTITUTION:A rotor (R) is equipped with a pair of left and right tilted and rotated finger disks 4, having hooked fingers 6 arranged on the circumference of a circle and clamp disks 3 rotating at a uniform velocity on the back side thereof. A crossing section (a) where the fingers 6 cross in the circumferential direction of the finger disks 4 is used as a receiving port 8 for a fiber bundle (T) and a section (b) for engaging the fiber bundle (T) zigzag in the rotating direction is formed to cut the zigzag folded back fiber bundle (T) between the finger disks 4.</p> |
