<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that restricts an increase in the temperature of a toner bottle cover. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus uses a transfer charger 102 to transfer a toner image formed by an image forming mechanism 101 to paper P, and uses a fixing device 103 supported by a stay 40 to fix the image transferred to the paper P. A toner bottle case has a pair of opposite side walls and a bottom wall connecting the edges of the side walls each other. At least a part of a toner bottle 9 which supplies toner to the development unit 3 of the image forming mechanism 101 is covered by the toner bottle cover 42. A connecting member 43 made of a material whose heat conductivity is lower than that of the toner bottle cover 42 is disposed between the toner bottle cover 42 and the stay 40 so as to be in contact with both of the cover 42 and the stay 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
