<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition which is used for ink jet, gives high quality images having excellent ink curability and blotting resistance without being affected by printing environments such as humidity, even when used under a low illumination light source, does not have a skin-sensitizing property, and is thereby also preferable from working environments, to provide a method for forming an image with the ink composition, and to provide a new epoxy compound. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition for the ink jet is characterized by containing an epoxy compound represented by general formula (A) (R<SB>100</SB>is a substituent; m0 is an integer of 0 to 2; r0 is an integer of 1 to 3; L<SB>0</SB>is a r0+1 valent 1 to 15C bonding group which may contain one or more oxygen atoms or sulfur atoms in the main chain or a single bond). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
