<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of transmitting detailed printing information to a user when the user performs manual printing or the like in a network environment. SOLUTION: When manually printing is specified, for example, in a network print system, the command of manual printing is added to the header part of print data of a printing job. When the off-line state of a printer 105 is acquired, a server 101 reports it to a client, and the client which receives that notice displays a dialog for reporting a timing of manual insertion to the user. Besides, the event of manual insertion timing can be reported to an application as well.</p> |
