The transverse link has a rubber lining(4) vulcanized directly on the outer circumference of the partially conical bearing pin(2) and on the inner circumference of a metal sleeve(5) fitted over it. The end of the metal sleeve facing the transverse link has a shoulder(5a) and the rubber lining has a bead(6) in contact with it. The bearing pin with the rubber lining and metal sleeve is fitted in a corresponding opening in the axle of the running gear. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the manufacture of a rubber-metal mounting in which a rubber lining is applied directly to the bearing pin during a first process stage before fitting the bearing pin.
