<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a direct drive actuator which can suppress the occurrence of looseness caused by a gap between a rail and a roller. <P>SOLUTION: This direct drive actuator 100 includes a rail 120, a lower slider 111, upper rollers 114a, 114b, lower rollers 115a, 115b, and press bolts 118a, 118b. The lower slider 111 has a first part 111a and a second part 111b split by slits 113a, 113b. The upper rollers 114a, 114b have outer peripheral surfaces capable of being brought into contact with inside guide faces 121, 122 of the rail 120, and are mounted at the first part 111a. The lower rollers 115a, 115b have outer peripheral surfaces capable of being brought into contact with inside guide faces 123, 124 of the rail 120, and are mounted at the second part 111b.
