<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virus-capturing composition, in which the raw material can readily be obtained and various type viruses can efficiently be adsorbed, having high safety and a virus-capturing filter in which the composition is adsorbed. <P>SOLUTION: The virus-capturing composition (3) comprises an extract of swallow's nest with water and/or a material obtained by treating swallow's nest with an enzyme as an active ingredient. The virus-capturing filter (1) is obtained by adsorbing the virus-capturing composition (3) into a filter (2). The virus-capturing composition has, preferably, a form of a spraying agent.
