<p>A bowling pin and a method of manufacturing the bowling pin. The method of manufacturing the bowling pin is characterized by comprising the steps of molding a core material (3) having an upper hollow part (5a) with an upper side opening (7) opening to the upper side and a lower hollow part (5b) with a lower side opening (11) opening to the lower side by setting an upper core (25) and a lower core (23) in a core material molding die (21) and injecting a molten synthetic resin in a cavity (27) through a gate (26), mounting an upper cap (9), a lower cap (13), and an indication plate (109) on t he core material (3), fitting the projected part (37) of the upper cap (9) into the recessed part (37a) of a cope (39) to form an upper locking part and fitting the pin (31a) of a drag (31) into the recessed part (13a) of the lower cap (13) to form a lower locking part, vertically fixing the core material (3) in a cavity (28) while holding a clearance (28a) around the core material (3), and injecting the molten resin in the clearance (28a) through a gate (51) to form a skin part (15) so as to cover the upper cap (9) and the lower cap (13) together with the core material (3).</p> |
