PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an antenna device using a UWB in order to facilitate an integration of the antenna device into an electronic device. SOLUTION: A cylindrical UWB antenna device 100 has a cylindrical polymide base 131R, a single cylindrical antenna element pattern (monopole) 132R, a single cylindrical grand element pattern 133R, and a socket type coaxial connector 120 astriding the cylindrical antenna element pattern 132R and the cylindrical grand pattern 133R. The cylindrical antenna element pattern 132R and the cylindrical grand pattern 133R are carved with the same curvature for the total length, i.e. symmetric with regard to an antenna axis line 134R.
