PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronously control the musical performance of a musical instrument and the operation of a device other than the musical instrument. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a piano 100 for a musical performance, a controller 200 which is connected to the piano 100 by a MIDI cable 111, and effect devices 300 which gives various effects to the musical performance under the control of the controller 200, and the piano 100 is so constituted as to output a MIDI signal. The controller 200 is so constituted as to control the effect devices 300 according to the MIDI signal sent synchronously with the musical performance of the piano 100. As the effect devices 300, a lighting device 301, a display 302, and a sound system 303 are connected to the controller 200 which controls the ON/OFF states of the lighting device 301, the display of still pictures and moving pictures on the display 302, the output of effect sounds to the sound system 303, etc. |
