<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear with a torque limiter suppressing costs than conventional by facilitating machining and forming, and suppressing change of a boundary point than conventional even if an external load is applied. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mechanism gear 10 (the gear with a torque limiter) includes a spring member 12 interposed between two gear members 11, 13 and carrying out torque transmission by frictional force, a pedestal part 13a provided on one of the gear members 11, 13 in a one face side of a gear body, and a notch part 13c provided in the pedestal part 13a and cut out for passing arm parts 12a, 12c of the spring member 12. When carrying out torque transmission from one of the gear members 11, 13 to another of the gear members 11, 13, torque transmission is carried out up to a predetermined torque value, and when the predetermined torque value is exceeded, the spring member 12 slips and torque transmission is not carried out. Accordingly, there is no need to carrying out forming within dimensional tolerance, and since it is simply deformation of the spring member, costs can be suppressed than conventional.
