The web frame for chairs or beds of the type used in the garden or for camping involves a profile shape of tubes made of wood or metal, with overlapping parallel webs of textile or plastic tensioned between them. The end of each web (2) is enclosed in an iron casing which has a hooked end piece (5), in turn engaging in an eye on the wood or metal tube (1.1'). Alternatively, the eye may be on the web, and the hook on the frame proper. This prevents the adverse effect of high bending loads, causing the tearing of the web.
|
