It is intended to create a fastening device, which is constructed as simply as possible, for built-in equipment, which device makes it possible to remove the equipment chassis from the front in the case of an equipment housing which remains in the switchboard, without any operation on the rear of the switchboard being required for this purpose. One recess (11) is provided in each of two side parts (10) which are arranged at right angles to the front and are connected to the front frame (1), which recesses are open to the exterior and are short in comparison with the installation depth of the equipment, and in which a tensile element (3) is located which slides over an inclined plane (12) which is constructed in the recess (11). The tensile element (3) can thus be sunk in the recess (11) for insertion of the built-in equipment, and can be withdrawn from the recess (11) with the aid of a threaded rod (7), for fastening of the equipment. The fastening device can be used for all built-in equipment. <IMAGE>
