The appts. housing uses identical base and cover plates (1,10) incorporating at least one terminal rail (21) and mechanical fixing lugs (11). The base plate (1) comprises a U-shaped profile with a rectangular planar base. The cover (11) has a similar configuration, with fixing lugs (11) at all 4 corners. The connection rail (21) extends along at least one longitudinal edge of the base plate (1). Pref. the base plate (1) has a basic length of 60mm, a width of 60mm and an overall height of 6mm. USE - For electronic circuits using ceramic carrier, esp. on board of civil or military aircraft in power supply or navigation systems.
